1.2 Patch notes (ENG)


New Stuff:

  • Added one new enemy type, the explosive zombie.
  1. When this enemy reaches the player he starts a charging sequence which results in a damaging explosion if he manages to charge it completely.
  2. The explosion can damage both the player AND the enemies caught in its area of effect.
  3. Enemies eliminated by that explosion will award the player with normal bodyshot kill points.
  4. Eliminating an explosive zombie will not trigger an explosion, even during his charging sequence.
  • Added 4 crystal perks scattered around the map, the player can interact with those crystal and use points in exchange for differents buffs.
  1. Shield:  Add a 50hp shield on top of the player's base health (100hp).
  2. Amp up: Increase the player's damage with all weapons by 50%.
  3. Reload+: Decrease reload time for all weapons by 50%.
  4. Magic boots: increase the player movement speed by 10%.
  • Added a class system. From the main menu, before starting a game, the player can navigate to the class menu and choose from  6 differents classes to play (for now there's only  one passive for each class as I'm waiting on feedback to add further abilites).
  • Added 2 new weapons directly tied to 2 different classes.

Quality of life changes:

  • Added an 8 way directional flinch to the player when receiving damage, this flinch will change accordingly depending on the location of the damage source.
  • Added an enemy respawn management system, when a zombie is immobile for certain period of time, it will now instantly despawn and respawn at the nearest active enemy spawn.
  • Added head bobbing which changes depending on the player's speed.
  • Added a french translation. Players can now navigate to the option menu and change the game language between english and french.
  • Slightly changed the UI to make the health bar more visible and comprehensible, and the blood overlay to dynamically change depending on the player health.
  • Slightly improved performance issues caused by the lights

Minor changes:

  • Added some new animations for the enemies

Bug fixes:

  • Removed barricades at the enmies spawn that was causing severe navigation issues for the AI. They are now replaced by invisible blocking volume that only block the player.
  • Fixed a bug that would continually reduce sniper damage with each shot.
  • Fixed a bug where the shotgun would sometimes shoot an inconsistent number of projectiles, it is now fixed at 8 pellets per shot.
